Medical Transcription Application Solution Provider (ASP) Model

M2’s Medical Transcription Application Solution Provider (MTASP) setup provides the complete IT infrastructure required for a Medical Transcription Service Organizations (MTSO) to run the show, except the client side machines. We offer four different models of service to opt from. Unlike other ASP’s, M2 provides solution for MTSOs to manage file flow from their sites at an affordable price which is integrated with the ASP system. Opting for our solution organizations will receive all necessary software support for managing the complete process.

Basic Features

• The Transcription Providers can manage files through their "admin" logins.
• Provides different dictation methods for Doctors (eg: Telephonic, PC based, Hand-Held Devices, etc.
• Transcript delivery through different methods such as Web / Fax / FTP / Email.
• Web based interface (Etranscribe) for Doctors to Access the Files and File Status. (need only to remember toll free number to Dictate and a Web Interface URL and login to access their Records.)

ASP Model Method 01:

This method is designed for Small Organizations. This system supports different dictation methods such as Telephone Dictation System (TDS), Hand Held devices or PC based Dictation System (Dictation Manager). Doctors can access the Transcripts through a web interface (Etranscribe). The files can be downloaded / uploaded by the MTSOs through this web interface.

In addition, we provide the software that can be used to download / upload files directly in scheduled intervals on completing the Transcription.

Through this ASP Model Method 01, we are offering the most efficient and advanced technology to be available to any small size unit to own the features that are offered by the most advanced ones. The per line/per minute based fee structure allows the transcription company to curb the initial capital investment and be free of any maintenance or service of any kind.

ASP Model Method 02:

This method is designed for Individual Transcribers and Small Organizations. Here, the providers can dictate using Telephone Dictation System (TDS), Hand Held devices or PC based Dictation System (Dictation Manager). Transcribers can download these wave files, Transcribe, and upload it using WordScript and Home Trans Xchanger. Doctors can access the Transcripts through a web interface (Etranscribe)

This System allows creating Groups for Doctors and Transcribers. It provides the facility to set Affinity on One-to-One Doctor Mappings (the files coming into a particular Doctor group will be allocated to the set Transcribers within the Transcriber Groups). It is also possible for Vendors to download these files in batches. This system also supports QA / QC and manual allocation of files using the web based admin.

Apart from the advantages that are available from ASP Model Method 01, the ASP model 02 will allow transcribers to directly connect to the ASP server, transcribe, and then send files back to the server

ASP Model Method 03:

This method is ideal for Transcription Centers. The File Flow Management System (Medflow) will be provided with this model to automate the entire in-house file distribution system / process. Doctors can access their Transcripts through ASP systems Etranscribe / FAX / DM', etc. Medflow also supports distribution of files to Home Based Transcription (HBT’s).

In case of multiple transcription centers, the file flow between these centers can be managed by installing separate Medflow in each center and this is possible through a web interface. This system can also be used to manage the files coming from other providers, which are not coming through the ASP system.

The ASP Model Method 03, is best suited for organizations who have just one transcription center at a single location. This model will permit the total transcription management from within the center.

ASP Model Method 04:

This system is suitable for organizations having in-house operations at multiple locations or through different Vendors. It also provides maximum control over the complete process. The dictated files will be forwarded to the Central Processing Unit (VoiceSys System) installed at the main center, which controls entire file flow between sub centers. In addition to this all the Dictation tools such as PC based Dictation System (DM), Hand Held devices etc., can also be attached with this excluding Telephone Dictation System (TDS)

This method allows customization of file flow management to meet the specific requirement of the MTSOs, bringing in the great advantage of full control of the file flow management and QA / QC process.

The ASP Model Method 04 is best suited for organizations that have multiple transcription centers at different locations. This model will permit the total transcription management centrally and also within the center. The model also allows you to add any number of Doctors and can directly handle the Dictations, if, the dictations are through the DM / Hand Held device. You will need our Service only for those Doctors using TDS.
