How can I become an M2 HT?

You will have to first undergo a screening test, which will include aptitude test, audio test, and interview. Once you pass the screening test, you will be given training on the following aspects for the account that you will be handling:

v Account training
v Training on Guidelines.
v Training on Formatting.
v Technical training.

Following the training on the above aspects, you will be given training on practice files for a period of one month. You can access feedback on your files using the tool that will be provided to you.

After you are done with the one-month training on practice files, our QA team will assess your files and prepare the final QA report. Based on the final quality percentage, you will be placed in any of the following designations.

Transcriptionst (above 90%).
Transcription+Editing (T+E) (98-100%).
Editor (98-100%).

You will receive your payment through your bank account within 30 days after the monthly evaluation.

Is it necessary to have broadband internet connection and stay connected throughout?

You can even work on dial-up connections and need not be connected to the internet throughout your working time. You might need the internet just to collect and send back the files and of course for the references.
