The ScanGard software is fundamentally the same for all versions of ScanGard. The ScanGard scanners will be different for different series of ScanGard. Administrator can set access rights of each class of users of the system using the ScanGard software.
Anti-tailgate systems can also be installed to augment the security offered by the ScanGard system. ScanGard system can also be customised to use more than one type of access control system (scanner) at each door. This facilitates the simultaneous use of different access control facilities (e.g. thumb scanner and barcode reader) at the doors. |
